Alyssa Condon

Alyssa is a junior in the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and hopes to add Applied & Resource Economics as a second major. She has an interest in agricultural and food policy and hopes to continue her education in that field after graduating from UConn.

Alyssa is involved in Dairy Club, Block and Bridle Club, and Sigma Alpha, the professional agricultural sorority on campus. She became a College Ambassador because she found her perfect fit at UConn in CAHNR and wanted to help prospective students do the same.

Three Pieces of Advice for Prospective Students:

  1. It’s okay if the friends you make on move-in day of freshman year aren’t the same friends you have a year down the road.
  2. Be as involved as you want to be! Most clubs at UConn are always interested in adding new members and it’s a great way to make friends.
  3. Make time for yourself—college can get overwhelming if you don’t take the time to relax and do things that you enjoy.
