Katy is a junior in the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources. After graduation, Katy intends on pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Agriculture Education through the Teacher Certification Program for College Graduates (TCPCG) Program through the Neag School of Education.
Katy has been involved with agriculture since she was nine years old when she joined her local 4-H club. She has shown dairy goats and cattle at state and regional levels for more than 10 years. Other than 4-H, she was also an active member of her FFA Chapter in her four years of high school. Katy is now an active member of both the UConn Dairy Club and the Agriculture Advocacy club on campus.
Katy has always been drawn to leadership, and has held many leadership positions through 4-H and FFA before becoming a College Ambassador. She became a College Ambassador because she wanted to help prospective students learn more about the college.
