Mindy Gosselin

Mindy is a junior in CAHNR pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources with a concentration in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. After graduation, she hopes to continue her studies and earn a Master’s in marine fisheries biology or attend law school.

On campus, Mindy is an active member in Agriculture Advocacy Club, EcoHusky, the American Fisheries Society, and is a TME Mentor. She is also historian for Sigma Alpha, a professional agricultural sorority. Mindy is a student worker for UConn Athletic Department as a game day facilities assistant. She also works in an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology laboratory partaking in undergraduate research, analyzing Alewife migration and physiology.

Mindy became a College Ambassador to educate current and prospective students about the great experiences, opportunities and resources that CAHNR has to offer.

Three Pieces of Advice for Prospective Students:

  1. Get involved! Join clubs, intramurals, or Greek life! It’s a great way to make friends and find people who have similar interests.
  2. Don’t be afraid to push your comfort zone.
  3. Take advantage of all the helpful resources on campus.
